    SNAFU308, for me the reticle is more important than slight differences in glass. I would buy a Kahles with MSR if I couldn't have a S&B with that reticle.

    I recommend the Pro with an Apex kit. CZ is a very good gun but will require some work to make competition ready. The SA/DA system can be a steep learning curve for competition, but Ben Stoeger shows it won't hold you back.

    I have an LMT Mk18 and a SF Mini mounted on a MB556k. I've run it hard and it has been an excellent setup. It's not as quiet as a full size can, but acceptable w/o ear pro. I like the balance of the Mini and gas blowback seems to be less than with a full size can.

    I agree with Saito about dryfire. As well, I've seen a much greater improvement in my groups and splits (and scores) by working on grip strength with the Captains of Crush than I did with the Vanek. It's not that much of an advantage. For a fighting Glock I wouldn't consider anything but stock.

    I have 17k on my G34 and am nowhere near replacing the barrel. About the trigger: a Vanek GM is a very nice setup that doesn't ruin the crisp reset that is such an advantage of the Glock. I run one on my 34.
