    Been a minute since I started this thread, I ended up going 6mm Creedmoor. Rifle is put together and I am working on load development with the 80gr VT. While running loads up looking for pressure I saw a little over 3500fps. Flat primer though so I’m going to play in the neighborhood of 3400ish...

    The 108 is a turd on p-dogs. On paper the 80 is the best of both worlds. Explosive performance on soft tissue, speed, and enough BC to have fun at distance. Time will tell if it works out as advertised.

    26” barrel, h4350, 80gr VT,Prime brass. I did a quick pressure work up from 43.5 to 46.0 @ 46.0 primers were slightly flattened, no ejector swipes or any signs of brass flow, 3508fps average with 46.0 I’m going to work from 45.0 - 45.5 and see what groups look like next.

    Thoughts on the Desert Tech Covert?

    I’ll never not have a DT, they definitely aren’t as refined as an AI but for hunting coyotes out of my jeep there is absolutely no better platform. With the A2 and a light profile barrel, and lupy mark 5 you can be sub 10lbs all dressed up and ready to party.
