    Re: Dry firing yup dont dryfire your rimfire rifles on an empty chamber, use a snap cap. MAKE SURE ITS A SNAP CAP. Centerfires are good to go unless specifically noted. that said people do dryfire their rimfires. I think they are foolish and I never do it.
