    Sako TRG 338 Lapua Magnum

Im still using up some Hornady 285gr Match ammo and have had fantastic luck with this as factory ammo. several 1/4MOA groups @ 400-600m. If it wasnt so much cheaper to load my own, I would stick with them - just too hard on the pocketbook....to shoot it as much as I'd like to at least. I'll...

6.5 Creedmoor -- Berger 140 grain VLD Target + IMR 4350 -- What has worked for you?

Depends on actual volume of the powder and how deep you're seating the bullet.

6.5 Creedmoor -- Berger 140 grain VLD Target + IMR 4350 -- What has worked for you?

I think the sensitivity training may be overkill. Deep breath, keep typing. Yeah I see the whole post now, cool. Thx

6.5 Creedmoor -- Berger 140 grain VLD Target + IMR 4350 -- What has worked for you?

FCS..... maybe it's tapatalk, but all I can see in your first post is one partial sentence...... "0.040" or a bit more jump has worked quite well for me though many like" I'm surely not seeing any paragraphs. And, by the way, this is great information and why I love to come here and ask...

6.5 Creedmoor -- Berger 140 grain VLD Target + IMR 4350 -- What has worked for you?

I won't be loading up dummy rounds until my rifle arrives. Even if someone has an OAL to the lands for their rifle, it may be much different than your rifle and mine. I might suggest to start low and work up rather than starting with a mid-range suggested load.

6.5 Creedmoor -- Berger 140 grain VLD Target + IMR 4350 -- What has worked for you?

Oh wait.... just saw you said IMR4350. The recipe I was given used H4350. Sorry. I know they aren't identical.

6.5 Creedmoor -- Berger 140 grain VLD Target + IMR 4350 -- What has worked for you?

That's why I tagged the thread too. I was just offering suggestions to get your starting OAL. Wasn't sure if you knew it already or not, just mentioning it. The previous rifle owner gave me his load data, which used H4350, but using 139 scenars. I can get H4350, and have 140 Bergers so that'll...

6.5 Creedmoor -- Berger 140 grain VLD Target + IMR 4350 -- What has worked for you?

Tag I'll be loading 6.5cm soon as well and also have some 140 vld Bergers on hand. FCS - did I miss something, or did you edit/remove some of your original post? Your last said you answered all his questions.....but there is now only info on what jump has worked for you. OP - there are...

    Can a .223 do that?

OK so the consensus on mini 14s is clear. Had the same typical experience years ago and sold mine. What makes them so inherently inaccurate? Is it just the barrel? the action? combination of both? Can a good barrel on it shoot well? It's a cool little rifle but after 20+ years (since I owned...

    Thank you

I guess I've always had expensive hobbies. Firearms, fast cars, photography, etc.... I've read forums for real life info, experiences, suggestions on them all as well. SH has, by far, had the most in-depth resources, helpful members..... and best of all, quick to dispense with the OAF mall-ninja...

    Pistol powder??

I use the Midway "notify me" option when they get something in stock that I'm looking for. Gotta be quick and jump on it when you get that email, but at least you don't have a backorder out there that might get filled just as you find some locally. Not as big a deal with powder, but it's one...

    Pistol powder??

I'm having trouble getting to bullseye in stock before it's gone in the Houston area. My usual supply had some a few weeks ago but I missed it. Next time I see they have it I'm gonna have to try and drop what I'm doing and go get it.

Still use Strelok +. Just download the free version and see if you like it. If you do, download the + version if you like/need the extra options. If not, try another one out.
