    Remington vs Savage Action

Re: Remington vs Savage Action oh one other thing if I got my facts right about remingtons is the throat length is prettly long on them and u are not able to seat a bullet in the rifling if u wanted to. The savage does allow for this, though it may be a wee bit on the short side of things...

    Remington vs Savage Action

Re: Remington vs Savage Action I got a savage mod 10 FCP with McMillan stock. I got it for 1045$ after taxes and all last Christmas. After coming up on a year of shooting it and about a thousand rounds it is still way more accurate than I am . If I did my part b4 I bedded the stock it would...

    Berger 155 VLD

Re: Berger 155 VLD I use a lee collet neck sizing die and put a light squeeze on the neck of an already fired round. Then stick the bullet in and chamber it. I tried doing the other method with a marker, but always seemed to not come out quite right. Like they were pushed further in than what...

    Two questions

Re: Two questions my lee works ok enough. um those little nylon brushes for Dremel tools are the perfect size for large pockets and wont hurt brass at all, but clean the carbon right out. Im too lay-z to do this, but I have tried it and it works perfect.

    velocity nt increasing... how come??

Re: velocity nt increasing... how come?? With all honestly I wasn't able to call how far off, but as the trigger broke I felt me self move off target up high and right which is where the bum shot landed. Typically with a good load and me shooting to my potential at 100yds off a harris and...

    Advanced Marksmanship Drifting Issue

Re: Drifting Issue I get the same .75-1.5moa drift depending on range to the right. 100yds is dead on and consistent. but moving out to 500 and 700yds I find myself drifting off to the right. My dry fire looks good though and looks solid on target.

    velocity nt increasing... how come??

Re: velocity nt increasing... how come?? bolt lift still felt good on mine. sd for me and my current loads is normally between 10-15 fps. 5-10 is good for me. primers looked decently flat but a little radius still remained and only the normal bolt face marks were present and not any more...

New lot of powder, not the same performance?

Re: New lot of powder, not the same performance? like I just replied on my thread I have had similar results with varget and acc2520 when switching lots. that is a common complaint with Varget. with 2520 I had a volume vs weight issue. same volume but .7 grains heavier. had to add .7 grains...

    22lr group sizes?

Re: 22lr group sizes? during the winter when its 19 to -13 degrees with SK match I've had no prob holding 5shot .3-.6's ctc @ 94yds with my Savage MKII shooting off a harris and sandsock. Now that its warmer out I seem to only be able to get .6-.9's Still wont complain.

Re: ok so maybe on the hide isn't the right place everything was tight with the scope. The scope is a "cheapy" centerpoint scope the guy picked up with my recomendation. I have had two aswell as a few other people I know and we all have had good luck with them for what they are. I used one...
