Who does Bolt Knobs for CZ's?!!!

http://www.snipershide.com/shooting/sniper-hide-gunsmithing/197933-cz-rimfire-oversized-bolt-knob-questions.html I ordered one from the guy in Australia. Works slick. I have a CZ452, vortex 2.5-10 PST and I have no clearance issues. -G45

    Sidearms & Scatterguns A sniper's "best" side-arm/weapon.

Best side arm? The one that remains in the holster because you did your job to get to your hide, remain hidden and return without being observed. Not observed - no need for side arm. My $.02 -G45

GAP-10 Surefire brake/QD suppressor mount dumb question

Notso, Having just received my GAP10, I read the instructions(yeah, UN guylike I know.) But, just beware that if you have no switchblock, it'll get hotter and more dirty - more quickly. Regardless of thread-on or QD mount can. The brakes are screw on, no pins. Enjoy when you get it!! :) -G45

    M1A standard or national match?

I have the loaded model, and I like it quite a bit. I contemplated the standard and then tweaking, but . . . I know that becomes a bottomless pit of sending the gun here, then there and hope to put it together correctly, blah blah blah. I wanted a national match, but, i knew I just wanted to...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Glock 42, some will love me...

I tried one of these for the first time today. I went into it thinking Glock screwed up(like so many of you have already said.) Why the GDFH didn't this come out in 9mm!!!! So I thought I'd try it so i could hate it and be done. (ahem) . . . . this is actually a fun little booger to...

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Glock 30s .45 acp or Glock 26 9mm

I'm *NOT* trying to knock you, but G30/G26 is not quite a fair comparison. G26 is sub-compact, G30 compact. In that light, or in Glockenese, G30/G19 are both "compact" sized. I find that most people add the +2 mag connector to G26 mags. When doing that, it makes the G26 just about as tall as...

Sidearms & Scatterguns SOOOOON OOF A....i had my glock cherry popped today

For purely the shits-n-grins route / competition, I'd go the G34. They point and balance VERY nicely. I shoot a G35 in USPSA and it's served me VERY well. In fact, i sold the STI race gun because the Glock served me ALL the purpose for a fraction of the cost. Don't get me wrong, the STI was...

    GAP10 ShowEm Off Pics

GAP 10 arrived So, nearly 1 year to the date I ordered( 8 days short of a year actually :) ) I received the call. Ordered Jan 24 '13, called by G.A. Jan 16. Finally able to retrieve it from my FFL today. 18" fluted barrel, S-F brake Mil-spec OD, mid-length hand guard (vs rifle...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Best Glock aftermarket magwell for factory magazines.

I would only add that if this is for a carry gun, reconsider the magwell unless you're running extended magazines. I run a Dawson Ice on my G35 for USPSA matches with +4 bases- LOVE IT! So then I got one for my duty pistol with factory mags. Bad idea. Why? If you get a phase 2 malfunction , good...

GA Precision Current Lead Times 9/18/14 update

I ordered GAP-10 Jan 24 2013. I received notice my rifle is complete Jan 16, 2014 and ready for delivery. Just FYI for those in that crazy Jan ordering time. For those of you at GA Precision that read this. I sincerely applaud you for *NOT* rushing orders for the sake of pushing rifles out...

Sidearms & Scatterguns S&W M&P C.O.R.E which RMR is best?

I had the RM06 on mine, I like the smaller dot for distance shots(50 - 75yds) In the end, I just didn't like optics on a pistol, never have. I just thought I'd try it out once on M&P CORE 5in. If you're going to gong steel at IPSC type distances, you may find the larger dot helpful. I just...

Hunting & Fishing Head Shot Wednesdays

Sorry to be an idiot, I just never grew up hunting. But . . is that the remains of an elephant head? I've hear the 375 H&H was a versatile caliber, but damn, if that's an elephant, I'm truly impressed with that calibers potential. Some of the comments in here are pretty damn funny by...

    Single Point slings

I have an MS3 and MS4, and I like the durability and strength of the sling. I truly feel I could about rock climb with these slings. But, as some posters above have observed, I too have a *LOT* of friction when trying to tighten the sling. I can loosen it quickly, but tightening is a two...

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Glock Sights

I used to run the standard Trijicon GL01 or GL04(.45 version) and was happy. I have fiber optic on my G35 USPSA gun, which works well for its' purpose. But, for a carry gun/duty gun/off-duty, etc. I've been making the transition to Heinie Straight-8 ledge sights. Big dot out front, smaller...

    GAP10 ShowEm Off Pics

I'd suggest looking at a DPMS SASS and what the specs are on that. I think those are 18" barrel, but it'd have to get you within 6 ozs.

    Sidearms & Scatterguns 1911 Question/Comparison

Of the two you mentioned - I'd go TRP. Why? I think it's all the pistol a Kimber is, but better. I like series 70 fire control. Nothing wrong with Ser 80, but I just prefer a 70. I just acquired a Dan Wesson V-Bob however. I pretty much "blame" that purchase on the number of positive...

    Who here has given up....

I wouldn't say given up, just that we(American shooters) have a plethora of choices, which is a good thing! Some people are perfectly content driving around in a Ford Taurus or Chevy Malibu - it's a tool which is easy to find and gets them to work, drops off kids to events, takes them on...
