I just went through three days of back and forth on an XD I'm selling for the guy to go "Oh I just wanted the magazine." If I had known that I wouldn't have let my post fall from the first five pages.
This is my first bolt action rifle. I started off wanting a stock left handed rifle, but then I found Spartan Precision by accident and saw what all the real rifles looked like. Overall it was a great experience. Marc put up with a ton of questions and built me a terrific rifle.

This is the last of the Cornetto Trilogy (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) starring Simon Peg and Nick Frost. The World's End is set for release on the 23rd.
Anyone else plan on seeing this? Or drinking/pub crawl before the movie?
I actually had to establish ground rules for my group of friends when they found out I shoot. Number one was "We will not go as a group." I believe it was phrased worse at the time... something along the lines of "it's not *****ing gokarts!!!!" Rule #1 went away after they all got used to...
As a guy with prescription glasses I hate eye protection. I still wear it though because when I didn't stuff still got by my regular glasses. I should just suck it up and buy a pair of script safety glasses, but man they are not cheap.
Figured I would post this now that I know there are fellow gamers on the Hide. Still Feel weird posting in a lit/mov section, but I think it's more of a generalized media section.
GMG has a 20% off code somewhere I can't remember

This is my R700 from Spartan Precision.
Marc is a great guy and was kind enough to make this nice little target after zeroing my scope. Really beyond my wildest dreams for my first bolt action.
I'm a pretty big geek/nerd, but movies like this and Avatar really upset me. Most of the technology represented in these movies point to a post scarcity society, yet the setting isn't and "surprise" the humans end up being the bad guys again.
