6.5 PRC medium action
I don’t shoot the 140’s. I run 135 JLK’s in my short action now but it is I believe the longer saami freebore. My medium action is throated longer for the 156’s. I also run the 153.5’s in my medium action. They shoot well with 25k jump and they have a higher BC than the 156’s.- Dragn’up

I have both short and medium action PRC’s. With that, I am loading 156’s over RL 26. On my medium I comfortably run 3108-3115, my short action runs them 2982-2980 comfortably.- Dragn’up

That was my problem, it appeared to be going all of the way down but it wasn’t. Once you get the clearance where the bolt is positively closed all of the way, add 3-4 thousands more of clearance and you should be good to go.- Dragn’up

Something else to check. I had the same problem with my Origin 300 PRC. After changing firing pin assembly out and triple checking headspace, I found that the bolt handle hit the chassis and would not go completely down. I have one barrel from them, it was a prefit for a CDG action. It shoots pretty well. My only concern would be the time expectation’s. Not sure if it’s any help to you, but I just looked in my old (20 years) data book for my TBA built M40A3. It had a Sneider 25” barrel. I had a few cases of the M118LR for it.
