    Official Accuracy International AT-X

There wasn't a torque spec in the manual for the front bridge screws so I just sent it at 25 in-lbs which is the same as I've used for keyslot attachments. It's felt reasonable and held together well so far.

I think I've used 25 in-lbs on those screws and the keyslot attachment screws.

    Official Accuracy International AT-X

Interesting if true. With the ATX launch they put out a bunch of info on the rifle well before launch then deliveries were slow to trickle out. Plus they did the pre production run thing. And they continued selling the previous model AT even to this day. If that's the case it seems like...

:sick::sick::sick: That somebody could be you. Word on the street is there is an ATX in the EE in the low 3's. Not me... I'm also getting buried with my AT-X.

I love the camo, that might just be the 2nd best looking AT-X. :p

    Building the Perfect Reloading Room

Good enough for reloading unless you consider a hammer a reloading tool. :p Having a solid top that doesn't deflect when running a press handle would be my priority. If the top mars or scratches with use would be minor issue. I manage now with a bendy bench top but it would be a nice...

    Building the Perfect Reloading Room

Those seem like they would work out well with a nice thick top.

    Building the Perfect Reloading Room

I use a countertop height bench (37") and think it's perfect. I do most work standing and keep a stool at the bench for the few task I want to sit down to do. Aren't kitchen counters 36"? Or are the cheapo cabinets 30" or 32" like a bathroom counter?

I like my 3x, if I need to know the range of the target I read it off the sign at the flat range or use a laser. Having the ranging uterus wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, I just wouldn't use it.

Any South Florida rifle ranges of 1,000 yds and longer?

I'm think my Vortex might not have the beam divervence to sneak a return in there. This was the best I could get but it might be the treeline behind the berm.

Any South Florida rifle ranges of 1,000 yds and longer?

I've heard of 2k and 2.5k talks, it's positive to hear improvements are being discussed. And the berm clean up and build up at 1m is a nice improvement.

Do you guys prefer MIL or MOA?

Who's going to admit to preferring MOA over MIL? How embarrassing

That's my understanding also but maybe I need to back off my 22 BRA sizing die a bit to get a better crush fit of the neck shoulder junction. That crush fit would help to seal off the chamber better. I recently fireformed Dasher brass also using 28.0gr of Varget and it formed up great and...

Any South Florida rifle ranges of 1,000 yds and longer?

I don't think that has been published yet. Currently they are operating on a pay-for-the-day temporary setup till they get their business model up and going.

Next time I form brass I'll experiment with different methods. Jamming and also trying 28.5 and 29.0gr. Here's a before and after from 28.0gr.

I did not jam the bullets. Maybe next time I fireform some brass i'll try that out.

    Yes, 28.0gr of Varget.

Thanks, I'm going to look into a vibratory or ultrasonic cleaner. I think I am having pressure issues caused by cleaning issues due to the extra dirty neck/shoulder of my 22 BRA (which might be due to a too lose of a chamber?) I inspected everything closer today to diagnose the issue. Pulled...

    AI AXSR Long Term Thoughts?

300NM, Factory Barrel. 220 LRHT Lapua Brass Fed 215m N570, 86.5gr. Velocity was 3005fps or so when newish; last time I chrono'd I was down about 50fps. I'm not sure if a combination of that was from cooler weather or just from N570 use, I only have 452 rounds on the barrel so far. 30k - 80k...
