    6mm BR

This is a great thread. I am getting a rifle barreled to 6BR for primarily varmint hunting. I have a pretty good pile of IMR 8208, does anyone have much any input for this powder with 100 gr class bullets? I am definitely going to on the hunt for Varget or H4895, I am kicking myself as about 2...

    Can I convert a .223 AICS mag to a 6 BR

Ok. Maybe I'll just hang on to it and buy a new one then. If it there wasn't a large amount of reconfiguring I figured I'd just use the conversion kit. Thanks for your input.

    Can I convert a .223 AICS mag to a 6 BR

I have a .204 that I have shot the barrel out of and am rebarrelling to a 6 BR. I have been running a .223 AICS mag and after taking it apart it looks like I should be able to get a BR conversion kit just like I would have to for a .308 AICS mag. I realize MDT makes 6BR magazines but if I can...

Hunting & Fishing Long range varmints

I go on a ground squirrel shoot in Southern Oregon every year and have shot thousands of 204 rounds at squirrels from 400 yards to 4 feet and I can say that I would consider a fast twist 22-250 or step up in to the 6mm realm. The 204 is a flat and awesome for holdover shots out to 400 on a calm...

    Rifle Scopes 35 mm rings

+For the Leupold Backcountry rings. They are solid and I have had no clearance issues with my Mark 5 on a 20 MOA rail. I bought the High rings but i think mediums would have been sufficient.

Rifle Scopes For those who use Leupold VIP

I ordered the new MOA Mk5 the day after it was released (I was already planning on buying one in MIL but heard rumors of the MOA coming) and I recieved it yesterday. Took a little over a week. It shipped Thursday, so it arrived fairly quick.

    Rifle Scopes Questions about Athlon

So last time I drank the Kool-Aid on a "Good Buy" was the the Viper PST Gen 1 when Vortex was just gaining momentum and popularity and it left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I recently inquired on here about some new glass and in my quest for an upgrade I discovered the Athlon Cronus BTR. I...

Rifle Scopes Advice on some new Glass

So many decisions, and now I'm also looking at the Athlon Cronus BTR because I am reading some great stuff. Its enough to drive a guy mad.

Rifle Scopes Advice on some new Glass

Good to know, I hope didn't sound like I was being short, I'm just new so I don't know anyone.

Rifle Scopes Advice on some new Glass

The DMR pro is the one I was looking at, on the order form it is a little more but lists having the same glass as the XRS which is a few hundred more, at that point I think the only thing more I'd be gaining in buying the XRS is the extra zoom which is cool, but not $400 cool. I played with...

Rifle Scopes Advice on some new Glass

Hey all! This is my first post on this site so sorry if I am bringing out an already dead horse to be beaten some more but, I am seeking some input on a new scope to put on my 300 WSM. My primary use is hunting but I do shoot rocks and varmints as well, generally a couple times a month. I...
