    I also considered tossing some JB weld in there to fill it, renting a finish reamer to clean it up. I have the steady hands of a surgeon, can chuck it up in the old Dewalt shell be good as new.

    H3 buffer and carbine length? Spring. Idk what length it is, might be longer but it's stock from the factory. I've tried some winchester I had laying around, and hand loads. Same story for both. It's a bummer on a rifle this expensive.
