    I pulled an old 30-06 out of the safe today and damn I got pissed when I looked thru the scope. I mean I’m no scope snob but damn the shit I thought was good 20+ years ago looks like glaucoma

    I don’t think so. I shot some more rounds that were stored in a controlled environment and they did ok. But the ones stored out on the rifle stock not so much. And no not a leather one

    After not shooting my old 30-06 for years I dusted her off for deer season, cause my go to rifle has had fliers, first shot of old match rounds and bam... split case. I have shot probably 300 of this same load no problem. I think moisture or chemicals got to it.
