    Re: load testing Looks like you found the load. Just need to verify at distance. I would have him send more of the same load and test it out at further ranges. You probably wont have to mess with seating depths.

    Re: Surgeon, XLR, S&B, and Short Bus Another great thing is I was able to put a PVS-24 lr on it just fine with the 5-25 S&B. Plenty of room and it worked great. So, for you guy's running NV, this chassis is a great choice.

    Re: 300WM vs. 338LM Inside 1000 yards for a target rifle I would not really consider the .300 unless you just want it. I would look at the .243 or 6.5. Cheaper to shoot with a lot less recoil. If you were hunting with it then things change.
