F T/R Competition Was freaking out for a minute there!!

I just finished up some loads for the 178 Hornadys and 175 SMK's with Varget this evening. I've got the same rifle, so we'll see if things line up with most folks results with the 45 gr of Varget. It'd be great as that was the sweet spot for the 168gr Hornadys - then I wouldn't have to change my...

Where to get me a Mosin

I've had pretty good luck finding them for reasonable prices at the local gun shows. I've also found a variety of them on GunBroker. Decent ones go for about $179-250 for the standard models. The carbines go for a bit more and the sniper models run about $500-700. If you have a Cabela's near you...

Any tips for loading .40 S&W and .45 auto

Re: Any tips for loading .40 S&W and .45 auto I've been real happy with Titegroup, but have also had good success with HS-6. I've also started using Clays for .40 S&W as it's a light load that is good for plinking.

Sidearms & Scatterguns lone wolf barrels

Re: lone wolf barrels I've got two, one for my G27 and G22. The 22 is a dual port and the 27 is stock length. I haven't changed the reloads I use and have noticed a decrease in group size.

Pistol reloaders......where do you get your brass?

Re: Pistol reloaders......where do you get your brass? Outside of range pickup, I've had good experiences with BrassManBrass online. Fair prices and the shipping is included in the price. Their inventory they show online is pretty accurate as to what they have.

Anyone use the LEE universal decapping die?

Re: Anyone use the LEE universal decapping die? I've been using my Lee Universal decap for all of my brass before I toss them in the tumbler. I've even used it for crimped .223 LC brass and it pushes them out like a charm.

    308 win 155 Sierra , is 3000 fps possible?

Re: 308 win 155 Sierra , is 3000 fps possible? I was able to squeeze 2999->3005 FPS out of my 30" with 47gr Varget, Nosler Brass, 155gr Berger Hybrids, and GM210M primers. RADcustom - if you use a powder drop, you should be able to get at least 47-47.5 of Varget without crushing

Hornady - the old and the new

Re: Hornady - the old and the new My disappointment thus far has been the .223 service rifle section doesn't have anything for the 55gr V-Max, only for their bolt rifle section.
