    It is a heavy pig, but the weight also helps balance out the rifle. I'm in the process of assembling a new rifle with a UBR; I'm curious to see how I end up liking it. I went back and forth between the UBR and a SOPMOD, but I felt like the UBR offered more for the money than the SOPMOD.

    The UBR comes with it's own buffer tube, but does not come with a buffer. It will fit your lower just fine.

    I have even had success freezing barrels. While you don't get as much thermal contraction, sometimes it's enough to allow an extension to slip right in. Hell, I even froze a set of balljoints before I pressed them in the other day.

    You might do fantastic work, but you might have a hard time finding people who are willing to put $2k+ into a pistol built by an unknown gunsmith. Post some pics of your work and who is shooting your guns, and you might get some interest.

    A common reason why you see them in POF's is because some of them come with a drop in trigger that requires secured pins as the pins aren't secured by the springs as they are in a standard trigger group.

    I shot one on Rob Leatham's rifle and it was bad ass! If I had the money, I would have one on every one of my high speed rifles. My only gripe is the shoe is kind of thin for my taste in a long range rifle. The reset is the best I have ever used!
