Rifle Scopes ZCO 4-20 on long action

Does your howa have a split rail or is the optics rail one piece?

Rifle Scopes ZCO 4-20 on long action

After talking with Richard@cst and the other replies here it seems like if I run my normal for me height rings (1.2x -1.3x) it should work. I was mainly worried about the short length of rail in the front of the action and the short tube between the bell and the erector of the scope not giving...

Rifle Scopes ZCO 4-20 on long action

So I’m guessing the objective bell was hitting the front of the rail and higher rings ( along with adjustable comb) would have solved the problem? Thanks

    Stuck barrel need help

To remove tikka barrels I wrap the barrel in duct tape clamp it in the barrel vise as tight as I can. Then use an outside action wrench with the action wrapped in brass shims to prevent marks. Place 2ft cheater bar over action wrench handle and beat the snot out of it with a large dead blow...

Seeking input: need 1.7" 30mm rings

You could have a taller scope base made. Might look a little better than sky high rings. Just did a quick Google search and found this https://www.murphyprecision.com/custom-services/

    ARCA riser to raise binos

Went through this a while back and just ended up using an able table and a large pillow type bag to set my binos on. You could try this https://www.themub.com/products/the-mub But you would have to daisy chain a pic rail with an arca clamp for the top to get back to where you started( arca clamp)

Night Vision Trijicon has announced new ir-hunter and reap 2's

Great info I’ve read through some of your other posts and that’s what steered me in this direction. The mil reticle in the Trijicon is definitely a bummer. Makes you wonder what they were thinking. There seems to be a disconnect from the precision rifle world to the thermal world.

Night Vision Trijicon has announced new ir-hunter and reap 2's

I assumed the small hash marks on reticle 1 were half mil… no? If that’s the case that would definitely mess me up.

Night Vision Trijicon has announced new ir-hunter and reap 2's

Resurrecting this old thread with more info on the series 2 ir hunter 60mm. Spoke to a tech today about fov being the same on the old vs new models. His explanation was that the old company (before Trijicon took over) had calculated the magnification wrong and the mkiii 60mm is actually a 3x...
