Suppressors Which 'version' of CLR for cleaning?

Check with the can manufacturer , all these chemicals are acid based and react differently with the different materials. CLR needs to be AVOIDED with aluminum and some stainless steels . All my cans are Ti and CLR is what is recommended by the manufacturer.

Suppressors Do you clean your suppressor?

Yes it will , don't soak aluminum in any of the acidic chemicals , some stainless also . All my stuff is Ti . Like posted earlier this thread was directed around centerfire not rimfire suppressors . The chemicals that work with carbon are different than lead .

Suppressors Do you clean your suppressor?

CLR does not damage ceracoat , all of my cans have been soaked in it . I use a cheap plastic graduated cylinder to soak them in . Put a rubber washer in the bottom to space the can off the bottom and fill the cylinder till the can is covered . The space from the bottom allows the chemical...

Rifle Scopes Nightforce NXS 2.5-10x42 - So Far Dissapointed

More magnification does not always equate to smaller group size. Make a target that fits the magnification and reticule type . Using what is best case 2 MOA but more likely 4 or 5 MOA ammo and expecting match ammo performance is setting yourself up for failure . There is a sticky at the...

And now he's a match shooter , ain't that special . Here's another hint , there are a whole lot of " match shooters " on this site who have been doing it for a whole lot longer than " several years " so don't feel so special . Do you know what pictures of groups on the internet are worth ...

    Suppressors Silencer for precision shooting

But you can't shoot groups like that with a sealed dirty can , plus since I know you're not using hand loads either , don't you know you're doing it all wrong .

    Rifle Scopes Swapping rifle scopes

Possible yes , giant pain in the ass yes . You will need to re zero everytime you switch rifles and more likely than not the eye relief between them will be different and the scope will need moved in the rings .

    Suppressors Thunder beast ultra 7

Rinse yes , alcohol no . Put it in the oven at 200 ish degrees and dry it out or just let air dry . May take more than one cycle depending on the build up .

    Suppressors Silencer for precision shooting

POI shift is more a function of barrel profile than the suppressor . Every suppressor is going to cause some shift , what matters is that it is consistent and repeatable.

You said nothing about your shooting schedule but were questioning strength and the specs speak for themselves as to which one is stronger and it ain't your beloved banish . Weren't you the one who said they got there barrel and suppressor hot enough to vaporize the base metal in antiseize and...
