Why does this make me think of that scene from Joe Dirt?

Movie Theater Wind River on Netflix

Just watched this last night. Stars Jeremy Renner as a fish and game hunter that assists in a murder investigation on an indian reservation.Enough action and plot twists to keep it exciting. Predictable, but so are most movies. I liked it.

    Maggie’s What's Your View II

Tucker, Every so often I am given an opportunity to see what living on a higher level would be. Now, with more time behind me than in front of me, I try not to let those lessons slip past me unappreciated. Thank you,

K-Bars What Knife is in your pocket right now?

I'm a big fan of the Spyderco knives as well, and have been carrying a Rookie for at least 20 years now. I own about 6 of them, two with G10 scales and the rest stainless. To me, its a perfect EDC folder. Funny, but looking it up it lists 1998 as the release date, but the guy that turned me on...

    Maggie’s SH Motorcycle Thread

Got this after moving upstate and seeing how many seasonal roads and snowmobile trails there are up here.

    Movie Theater Recommend books

My main areas of interest tend to be military non-fiction. To that end, and in no particular order, here are what I can remember right now: Panzer Commander, kind of a memoir of Hans Von Luck and his years in the WWII german military Feet Wet, assorted stories from a guy in Naval aviation...

Could you please either post or PM me a link to the range? I'm a bit west of Albany and that sounds like someplace I'd like to visit.

    Question for Northern NJ Shooters...

I remember that Greg. I shot once alongside Emil Praslic Jr in one of the early Carlos matches. He was a lot of fun and we had some good laughs in the pits pulling targets for that match. I shot in the MCL's Qualification Match one year following an invitation from a couple guys with the...

    Question for Northern NJ Shooters...

I remember that match being run by the Marine Corps League, even before they moved it to October. Maybe that communication hasn't been completed as of the last update to the range schedule?

How accurate is your rifle at 100 yards

This is a 10 shot group fired with my dad's 30-06 700BDL. It's from the 80s, and still has the trigger/safety issues that plagued those rifles, I'm leery of sending it for repair because this rifle shoots so well for me just like it is. Those 125TNT bullets work great in the Garand too!

What's the most stupid thing you've been told?

I had a young guy at my prior employer tell me about how a .50 BMG will tear limbs off even with a miss. He was a vet from Iraq and supposedly a driver for a special ops team while there. I mentioned to him that we had a 50 Cal Shooter's Assoc. at our range and that I helped spot for them...

    Left eye dominant child

My daughter is left eye dominant. While she is an occasional shooter at best, she shoots off the left shoulder with my rifles and does well. I brought her and my niece to shoot in the tactical shoots at our state association's range and they did well enough to finish mid field. Even shooting...

    Feedback Good Guy List

Re: Good Guy List Just finished a deal with MIB2000. Shawn kept me informed of everything from his end, and even threw in some extras when he shipped me the goods. I would not hesitate to deal with him again, and give him my highest recommendation.
