    Alot of guys run 17 HMR for racoons around here but i have taken plenty of them with 22. Especially if they aren't spooked. Thanks for the details. Gives me a starting point.

    I'm following this thread to see if i can be talked out of a 6creed (or 6x47L). got an empty action(needs a barrel) and a 14 year old son. running the 108s it has to have minimal recoil for a beginner.

    i ran winchester rimfire 22 mag and it was sub moa gun with remington ammo. i am enjoying some of the replies. Been interested in a pistol caliber that could be suppressed. that always sounded fun. just wasnt sure of the functionality.

    Nope. I have rifles that are more effective in Nebraska winds at long range. The 223 ai is a twin in every aspect except caliber and cost to shoot.
