    Barrel channel means nothing. Can be easily opened with a dowel and some sandpaper. Have done it multiple times on Manners stocks.

    If you like it and have $230 burning a hole in your pocket then grab one. I personally like a scope tube mounted level. It’s at perfect eye level for me to see right over the parallax knob.

    You loosened and moved the scope. It being 1.5 mils off is not surprising at all. Tighten that scope level more. It shouldn’t move.

    Never got any 20-30 SDs with Hornady 140 ELD ammo even during and after covid. The worse I got is in the 12-15fps over 20 shots.

    You can if you want but I’d try the simpler check first and save shipping time and having to remount. If the screws just weren’t snugged down enough it can happen.

    Rezero it and make sure the screws are snugged up. Then try it out. As mentioned 8 mils is not a zero shift. It’s a huge amount.

    I didn’t say anything about accuracy as they can be accurate but their BC sucks. They have a G1 BC of .535. The 140 ELD is .646. That’s a huge difference. When the wind starts blowing you will want that help with the BC.
