    .243 Win and 115 DTAC's Only

You guys using RE25 using magnum primers? I tried it with standard primers and it was way slower than 4831sc... Thanks in advance.

Varget fast enough powder for an 18.5 inch barrel and 175 SMKs

Got a friend that had his 700 308aac-sd chop'd to 16.5", can't wait to see how well it shoot out to 6 or 700 yds.

Varget fast enough powder for an 18.5 inch barrel and 175 SMKs

As soon as I run out of varget (real soon), I will be trying Aliant AR comp... It should produce slightly faster MV's than varget.

Lot to lot variation in powder.

This is what I was going to say... Also, does all the brass have the same number of firings? Is it over 2 firings? I really recommend annealing if you want to get consistent neck tension over all of them if it's mix'd brass.

AR-15 sub sonic load help needed

Wow... It's just a matter of time until you have a baffle strike and jack your can up... I don't understand why people even try this. If your trying to be quiet, chamfering each round will be loud. Better off slapping in a 22 conversion and shooting .22 Cci sub sonics

    Should I go 22-250AI?

I'm a big fan of Ackley Improved cartridges. If for nothing else, less trimming.

Automated High Speed Case Trimmer Poll

Same here, I tumble clean, anneal, then resize, check trim length, then trim / de-bur if needed. I have been in the habit of completing full case prep of 308 Lapua brass after the first 2 firings... Trimming them back to 2.000, if shoulder bump is set to around .001, you can go many firings...

    7-300 Win Bighorn Action

Couldn't turn up any info on 7mm Rouge on a quick google, what is this cartridge?

    7-300 Win Bighorn Action

Bare in mind I am contemplating my next build (a magnum or super magnum). I have ran the numbers on the shooter app and a 300wm with 230's @ 2800 out preform in the wind better than the 180 7mm at 3200fps at 1000 yds. A friend of mine and I are thinking 300 hulk or 7mm hulk but the 230 berger...

.260 Rem : varget and 140 grain Amax

I have tried powders as slow as reloader 25, but was not using magnum primers so I was blowing un-burnt powder out of a 28" Kreiger... Have a friend getting astounding accuracy with 105 a-max's with factory pipe with imr-4350, no mag primer But you wouldn't recommend anyone start reloading...

Question About Rebarreling to Larger Caliber

If you contact stiller and ask them about a 338 action and a bolt down to .473 (308) case head, he would tell you your only the 3rd person to ask for it this year. I was the second. The market doesn't dictate it being worth it for him. By the way, I have been shooting my first 308 for 5 years...

Question About Rebarreling to Larger Caliber

I have been contemplating this same idea... Problem is you can't do it as a repeater, but if your ok with a single shot I would buy a defiance 338 action to start with. They (and batt machine) are the only ones that will sell a 308 bolt face on that large of an action. (Magnum no problem either...

.260 Rem : varget and 140 grain Amax

So you would say IMR4350 is a little more temp sensitive? How much you think?

.260 Rem : varget and 140 grain Amax

Like mentioned before I have imr4350 and H4831SC in trade and have acces to H-4350 (local chop has about 4 lbs I think) Maybe someone can educate me... Other than the obvious where the 2 fall on the burn rate chart (quite near each other)... What are major differences of H4350 and IMR4350?

    7-300 Win Bighorn Action

    180's @ 3150... Can this be had by a 7wsm?

.260 Rem : varget and 140 grain Amax

Who says you have to had owned one to understand the physics of pressure. Doesn't take much reading to learn about popular bullet powder combo's... I never spoke to their accuracy, I left that to Bjay and other 260 shooters, but thanks for agreeing. I am shooting slow burning powders in 243AI...

.260 Rem : varget and 140 grain Amax

If anyone hasn't ever studied a burn rate chart, here is a good article... http://www.reloadbench.com/burn.html

.260 Rem : varget and 140 grain Amax

I do not own a 260, I am only posting pressure / velocity facts based on hodgdon's data. But I would be willing to trade some powders... Others have mentioned 4350 and 4831 as being very accurate, se above pic...
