338 Lapua improved barrel length & twist rate ?
I have just got a Rem 700 Police Long Range 338 Lapua & I'm going to rebarrel it in Lapua improved. I'm wanting to get some info on appropriate barrel length & twist. I will be shooting 300 SMK & Bergers (when they are fixed ) I was thinking 1-10 & at least 30"+ long. This will be a long range...- Kiwi Greg

Re: Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x50 Scope +1 on the 5.5-22x56, I put one on my custom rifle in 416 B & I,m very happy with it. I wanted to get the S&B but I needed to go mil to get the elevation & then it still wasn't as much as the NF. With my set up & bullets I can get to a bit over 2500 yards...- Kiwi Greg
