    The main thing is you need a scope mount that's quality enough that it performs its primary function of maintaining zero. Beyond that it's essentially what features you want and weight.

    I like to keep the scope on my 1337 yard DOPE after shooting sessions - I find it's a nice middle ground between your numbers of 100 and 600.

    Yeah, the OG MSR reticle is thicc. I have a Steiner M5 with an MSR reticle on my TacOps, and the reticle is annoying thick.

    I think Khales did the best rendition of the MSR reticle with their MSR-K. Though there's still a few things I would change to suit my preferences.
