    My 6 creed has 20” light varmint barrel. Shoots the factory Hornady 103 eldx at 2870fps. With the Mausingfield, Whiskey 3 chassis, and the Nightforce nxs it weighs in right at 13lbs.

    the barrel is from Criterion and I got the barrel nut from Jim @ Northland Shooter Supply. I sent the action, recoil lug, and barrel nut to Darkeagle and he trued everything and cut the relief in the action for the recoil lug tab.

    Thanks for the compliments. The barreled action on my hunting gun is OD Duracoat. My target rifle is FDE Ceracote. Both stocks were painted by Todd Jackson. And the 18" barrel with a 130 Berger has no problem putting em down right there. This was at 300 yards. I would take the same combo to 600...

    I have 2. One is 25" long and the other is 18". Same 130 gr Berger load for both gets me 2850fps on the 25" and 2650fps on the 18". My 95gr Vmax load will get 3000fps out of the 18" rifle. 25" target gun 18" hunting gun

    Moving away from hand primers

    I have moved from a hand primer to the Forster Co-Ax bench primer. Almost wish I'd switched sooner. To me, I can still feel the primer go in and bottom out just like the hand primer.

    Build a pond and use that dirt to build your berms. That's what I have done. I also built a platform at 1000 yards to help with everything. And before anyone says anything the first pic is taken from looking back at the firing position. Lol Here's a older pic from 1000 yards...
