Haha yeah true but the Big Dog Steel spigot is alot more than $60. Gonna get one of them after seeing Lowlights review. Plus postage to Aus. Ah man, and i still gotta pay for the Gen II Razor ?

Are you guys gonna run your pods on spigot mounts or via rail attachment underneath? Im debating back and forth, and the spigot is pricey. Do you gain anything either way? After opinions from those who have run spigots on AI's previously.

Im in Australia so no folder for me. So a fixed stock will need a 1750?

Hey all, could someone please tell me if the AT with 24" barrel plus brake, will fit in a Pelican 1720?

    Loading for a DTA .308

DTA gen 1 .308 Norma brass neck sized cci-br2 primers 45.4 gns AR2208 (varget) 168 Amax 2.196" to ogive which is a .009" 'jump' Dont have a chrony so no stats there, but theyre doing 2.2" at 500 meters with a bipod. I have a 22" DTA barrel so YMMV.

Seeing as how the AT rail isnt bonded, i wonder if they will produce one in the future. Again, its purely cosmetic, but its gonna look wack without the NV rail

Does anyone know if a rail section for the scope off the aw will fit on the AT? Im assuming the holes would be the same because they use the same action. Its only cosmetic but the scope is way too high for my liking.

The email i received when i asked about a long action. Hi XXXXX Yes there has been some speak of it but there is nothing set in stone. There are plans to make an AT long action rile but that's all there is at the moment and if it is made It will not be available until 2015/2016 Kind...

Can anyone legitimately confirm this? It sounds too good to be true, and im thinking its just everybodies wishful thinking. Everything we'd been told up to this point has been 'no'. No new bolts, no new actions. Why would they kill the sales of the MC's by producing a long action AT? New...

Depends what you want it for, but you'll find alot of guys are running the Atlas with qd mount, myself included. I seem to remember Nick saying he preferred the Harris swivel, but to each his own. My vote is for Atlas. I think it was Orkan who did a nice little video comparing the two. Check it...

Thanks Nick for your reply, i appreciate your time. Do you happen to know if this early model would be the Kreiger as a previous poster suggested? Either way its awesome. And thanks Dogtown too. I might just sort my brass by neck thickness variance. My 308 is already shooting lights out so ill...

Hey Dogtown, im using redding bushing neck dies and im thinking that these cant really work properly with uneven necks? Sure the OD will be true, but im still seating the bullet into an uneven neck. So in the quest for even neck tension and concentricity, is it worth it in your opinion? Will i...

The reason im asking, is im debating wether or not to neck turn my Norma brass. Its already quite thin though. Ill turn it down to .0135 if i go ahead with it, but if my chamber is 'sloppy' i dont wanna create too much space between the chamber and case neck. Im reasonably new to handloading, so...

I've got a really early model Gen 1 (serial number 66). Ive read somewhere that the early srs's came out with tight chambers, almost match like. Can anyone confirm this, particulary Nick? Cheers.

Thats a good point about cheek pressure. With a hand held bag in the rear, im used to smooshing my face on there pretty good. When i use the pod the elevation is spot on, but its windage thats moving shot to shot (no its not the wind). So i guess i may be applying too much pressure as you say...

I have already bought it and installed it. Ive only shot 50 rds with it though, and i found it hard to be consistent. I am glad to hear all you guys love it. I definately just need a higher round count with it. Id love some pics too, when you get a chance Ty.

Thanks RMW. Would you say it's 'harder' to shoot groups with it, or it just takes more practice to be consistant with?

Thsnks Ty. I really like the idea of using the fine thread out some turns so it doesnt bottom out when adjusting quickly. Thanks for the tip. So are you actually grabbing the monopod or the stock? And are you just 'holding' it there, or pulling into the shoulder slightly? My Tab shooting mat has...
