Re: Budsgunshop order, 11 days after payment and still I had issues with buds not sending my 22 out for over a week. When It did finally ship they recalled the package right before delivery with no explanation for a week. Finally after threatening to dispute the charges with my bank they...

Rifle Scopes Bushnell Elite 3.5-21x50 FFP long term test

Re: Bushnell Elite 3.5-21x50 FFP long term test Hopefully I'm not going to steal anyone's thunder but I figured I would add my bit on this optic. Over the past year I have had the pleasure of owning two nightforce scopes, as well as a mk4 and have had allot of time behind a zeiss conquest...

Rifle Scopes Bushnell Elite 3.5-21x50 FFP long term test

Re: Bushnell Elite 3.5-21x50 FFP long term test I nope it is, I just plunked the money down for one from George at GAP. As is it's a risk being a buyer of first year products. It would really be a bummer to have a short warranty if/when something is wrong.

    Rifle Scopes Nightforce vs Leupold

Re: Nightforce vs Leupold Glass quality to my eye is about the same, granted I only have had a mk4 3.5-10 to compare to my night forces. Every other aspect besides weight the nightforce was heads and shoulders above. Buy a used NF for 1200-1500 and be done with it.

Accu-Shot Monopod ...... Love Em?? Hate Em??

Re: Accu-Shot Monopod ...... Love Em?? Hate Em?? Here are some pics of the second one we did. This one did not hold as well as the first until we made small counter sink in the stock for the sling stud to sit slightly further into. by doing so we effectively move the monopod mounting closer...

Accu-Shot Monopod ...... Love Em?? Hate Em??

Re: Accu-Shot Monopod ...... Love Em?? Hate Em?? Kasey, my experience is different, in both stowed and 45* positions the pod is locked down well. I can apply allot of pressure to mine in both directions without it being forced out of position. That said, we got somewhat lucky when we did...

    Eberlestock Rifle Chassis

Re: Eberlestock Rifle Chassis It is a ver nice looking setup. There is clearly allot of machine time involved in it's manufacturing. I will never have the coin to get one at that price however. Anyone know the actual material it's made of? At any rate good to see another Idaho company in the...

    Vertical grip questions

Re: Vertical grip questions Ill admit that wile I thought that a more sporter type stock would be more comfortable, after trying some factory remmys with hs stocks, I prefer my vertical grip hs stock on my savage.

Accu-Shot Monopod ...... Love Em?? Hate Em??

Re: Accu-Shot Monopod ...... Love Em?? Hate Em?? Here are some pictures of what I did to mine. It allows me now to have my atlas bipod on the lowest setting and have the rifle level or firing slightly up hill. The next one we modified we got allot more drastic and machined more of the...

Rifle Scopes lapping nightforce and seekins rings??

Re: lapping nightforce and seekins rings?? I had my nightforce rings lapped, before I did the scope would rock in the bottom ring, indicating that the ring was out of round. After lapping there was no rocking and the scope fit perfect. That said, I won't likely be doing it again as I have not...

Accu-Shot Monopod ...... Love Em?? Hate Em??

Re: Accu-Shot Monopod ...... Love Em?? Hate Em?? For target use I like mine. However I improved it by milling a flat at 45* from deployed to stowed to allow it to be used for lower bipod heights. Before I had to run my atlas at the third notch for level use, now I can get allot lower. IMHO...

    Anyone use the Ipad

Re: Anyone use the Ipad I have an Ipad with the kights bullet flight on it. It does not run correctly on the ipad. on the iphone, or itouch it works great. But the comeups and zero distances are way off on it vs my itouch or vs reality. On the touch it is perfect.

Hunting & Fishing 25-06 vs 257 Weatherby Mag

Re: 25-06 vs 257 Weatherby Mag My fathers 257 weatherby with a 27 inch barrel on a sako action pushes 110 nosler acubonds at 2650. He uses the zeiss conquest with the rapid z varmint reticle. The drops and wind work almost perfect and are deadly for a hunting gun. I think that for an ultimate...
