Re: Opinions on the FN FS2000 Rifle
I love the feel of shooting a HALO rifle from the future. The only thing I did not like was the heavy trigger pull. This is the only reason I did not buy one. It shot well though. I went with an MSAR and installed a Trigger Tamer on it.
Re: which sunglasses?
I have had a pair of costa 580's for 4 years and the glass has held up well. Considering I have dropped them half a dozen times, they do not have any wear or scratches
Re: Any Winchester 52 people out there?
Mine is a pre A model and it also loves the Federal target ammo. 1 hole at 50 yds. Absolutely amazing design 80 years later.
Re: Most versitile .22lr Anschutz possibly Win 52?
I have the first model 52 from ~1929 and when I bought it I knew nothing about this rifle. I just purchased it because it had a great feel and a thicker barrel. Didn't think too much of the old straight tube weaver scope. It was not until I...
Re: NF MOAR Reticle
I was using the np-r1 until I came across the mdmoa reticle from us optics. Going from 2 Moa to 1 Moa hashes has greatly helped with the consistency of my wind holds. For me, this brings night force back in the running
Re: RCBS ChargeMaster 1500 Powder Scale and Dispenser
My buddy has purchased chargemasters over the years and has nothing bad to say about them. He would dump the powder into the case and by the time he seated the bullet, the next charge of ~45gr varget was ready. The RCBS gets my vote
Re: I think I am looking for a new scope
Tango 6. You have a great rifle for shooting long range. I think that 15-20x is a good power for 1000 yds, but 10x is acceptable. If you want to keep your scope at a budget price, I would suggest a scope with a reticle calibrated for 1000 yds...
Re: Anyone an Engineer/Tech for an Ammo Company?
I'm an EE and will offer my 2 cents. You need an industrial or materials engineer. I look forward to reading the updates to your inquiry.
Re: good set of ear muffs
I love my Howard leights! I where a pair of ear plugs plus the ear muffs. Set the volume to maximum and when you fire everything goes completely silent. They are excellent for the money.
Re: Bowling Ball vs a Marble
The best reasoning that I can use without digging out my physics book is the following: if you could wear a Kevlar reinforced steel alloy hard hard, would you choose to have the marble or bowling ball dropped on you head.
Re: .22LR Pistol Recommendations
+2 for the beretta neos. I have had mine for years and it is solid. Does great with a can if you choose to go that route.
Re: New rifle
My SPS stayed around the half Moa mark, but I had the same issue with the hogue stock flexing. Anything in the Remington line up would be a great choice!
Re: PredatAR 308 and Prvi M80
Has anyone tried this prvi ammunition on steel? I was at a buddies range last week and some of these rounds cooked holes through 1/2" steel at 100yds.
