    The 140gr ELD-M worked best in my 6.5CM. The Prime ammo was OK but the Hornady was noticeably better in my rifle. Try a few different flavors. It's the only way to know.

    I would second the suggestion for an upgraded trigger. I have the Geissele SSA-E in my large frame AR and really like it. That is probably the best bang for your buck as far as an immediate improvement goes.

    I believe that Rifles Only has a couple of slings that are not marketed on their website. I cant remember the user that posted about the "simple sling" he requested from RO but it sounded interesting.

    We had a couple of threads over on Scout with recommendations on slings. What sling are you currently using? What do you recommend for someone in the market for a new sling? I've been looking at options from Armageddon Gear and Rifles Only for a new match sling.

    I don't have any experience with Athlon scopes but I would choose the 6-24 mag range for that distance.

    What range do you plan on shooting with the rifle? I had a NF SHV 4-14 F1 on my 6.5CM GAP-10 for a few months and it was fine. I liked the NF ATACR 5-25 that I had on my 300WM better so I swapped them. Both are serviceable on that platform and more than capable of getting you out to a grand.
