My take on Kryptek Highlander with rustolium

Definitely not a safe queen. I'm really only considering this because I've already chipped some cerakote off my bolt gun and at $150 for paint I was a little pissed. This way when I chip/scratch it's only $15!

My take on Kryptek Highlander with rustolium

I used a cargo net from the trunk of the wife's van. I sprayed some alternating colors down and let dry. Then laid the net down and used a different color over the netting than what was under it. I used flat khaki, dark earth, deep forest green, and another brown that I can't remember the name...

My take on Kryptek Highlander with rustolium

Working up the balls to spray my AR to get it toned down for coyote hunting. I've come down to liking this pattern. What do you guys think?

    Rifle Scopes Nightforce SHV?

The 56mm objective is what kept me away from this scope. I think they failed us in the hunting arena because of it. Varminters probably won't care. I got a Leupy VX6 2-12 X42 instead.

Hunting & Fishing Hunting spot photo's please.

Here's some from west central Illinois. Nothing as beautiful as you western guys though! I will be adding some Montana pics to the mix in the spring. I'm doing a DIY black bear hunt. Wife's first turkey hunt. Middle daughters first turkey hunt.

Added a few upgrades since I first posted. First I added a Mountain Tactical Gen 2 Elite rail and Seekins Precision rings. Then an Atlas BT 15 pic rail and the Atlas bipod. And a Sims recoil pad.

Hunting & Fishing GPS. What's everyone using?

And you are going to want to get a huntX card for the state (s) you plan on hunting. Shows all the property boundaries.

Hunting & Fishing GPS. What's everyone using?

I picked up a Garmin 62s on sale at cabelas for I think $200. I asked all my western hunting buddies and 90% of them had and liked this model.

Hunting & Fishing Mathews Creed XS

I have a Creed. I really like it. Very easy to shoot great groups. Smooth draw with a solid back wall. I will say I put a set of ABB Platinum strings on it and I feel it shoots even better than stock. However it is one of the slower bows being put out, but I would say it's easily the most...

Hunting & Fishing Sent Blocking Camouflage, Truth or Fiction?

It helps to an extent. You still have to follow a scent regiment as stated above. I do pretty much the same. Even my towels and warsh rags get scent treated. I am going to try some scent loc this year also. I don't think you can ever eliminate your scent but you can bring it down to levels that...

    Use of FrogLube question

I've been using Froglube for almost 2 years. Use it on all my firearms. I've used it in my AR'S from over 100 degrees to down around 20 below for coyote hunts. I have never had an issue with it gumming up. I apply it with heat, wipe everything off after its cooled. Put a little of the oil at...
