    Is this load too hot for my AR?

    Try a faster powder. Your picks are OK for a bolt gun , but maybe too slow for a gas gun. If it was a 308,I'd say 4895 or thereabouts. I know nothing about the 260. Chamber pressure needs to drop pretty quickly for the bolt to extract the case. Any rim deformations?

    If you have trouble getting it out, it was too big going in.Try FL sizing and work on load and OAL. My Sendero needed 3.55 Oal w/ 180 Nosler. Most any powder. Any case.

    Perhaps you might consider another tack. Bake your ribs under foil for 2 hours at 275 in a pool of orange juice and coke.Grill for 10 to 20 min. coated with Montgomery Ribs BBQ sauce.Smoke is good here. Only tits are better.
