    Case trimmer.

As others have said the Wilson is a great piece of kit, very easy to set up without the micrometer adjustment too. The guys there also give great customer service.

Deburr & Chamfer Needed if I Don't Trim?

If your cleaning in a traditional tumbler you'll not need to rechamfer (unless you notice any copper shavings on the bullet when you seat). If you used the wet stainless media to clean you will need to rechamfer.

    300. win mag brass

Thanks for the heads up, sounds like Norma would be a better bet reading your last post, will just have to see what's available. I've no problem running more RP to be honest as like you, I've had good luck with it. I spotted the box of Lapua sitting in the corner of a shop gathering dust, it'd...

    300. win mag brass

I've only ever used RP brass out of my 300WM and at the moment have two batches, one on 7 firings and one on 8. Primer pockets are all good and no thinning of the case head. I've had good accuracy out of them too. I've got a box of brand new Lapua sitting on the shelf - i can't bring myself to...

Im new to Atlas bipods legs but am I missing something?

Never found this to be an issue with my two Atlas', then again I never shoot them off a hardwood floor ;) Get them used and the rubber scuffed up, won't be an issue.

What's your take on Vihtavuori powders?

Viht powders are very good and pretty much what I use exclusively - from 17 rem up to 50 bmg. N140 is superb in .223 69gr bullets, and the light to medium in 308. When I get to 175 gr I switch to N150 which gives better velocities. N160 is an excellent substitute for H4350 and works well in .260...

Varget, What is it selling for a lbs?

At current exchange rates $57/lb :(

    Shooter App Issue?

If you use the 'use MV' then it will correct automatically. No need to edit your original velocity.

    Primer Seating Depth Variation

Lapua brass should be pretty consistent and shouldn't need uniforming. Try measuring some pockets, the measure your primers then finally measure your seat depth. If the numbers line up before you seat then it's something you are doing, like crushing the primers in with that last squeeze. I...

A shoulder bump die with a Mic head?

Trouble is you're not just bumping the shoulders you're also resizing the body too, can't have one without the other. Would be a special kind of die. Was just adjusting my Redding body die today, was able to get .001" adjustments to get it just so. Will never have to set that die again until I...

    Hazard 4 Spotter range bag.

Anyone got any views or experience with this product? It's got everything I want in a range bag (and is actually available In the UK....) but I've not come across this brand before. It'll get some fairly stiff use and need to lug quite a weight in ammo and gear - I don't want something that's...

    250gn or 300 for 338 lapua

The simple answer is to load some up and try them. Nothing wrong with using either or the 285's it's whatever your rifle likes that matters. I shoot both 250's and 300's, got some 285's to try.

Rifle Scopes Badger VS Seekins scope rings

Seekins are up to the job, I think the design is good and there is good scope clamping area. I've used a set on a .50 with no issues (steel base too). I think it comes down to personal preference, Seekins, Badger, NF, Mark 4's etc will all do the job.

    Shooter App Issue?

I'm running the iPhone version but I would have thought they'd be the same? The velocity calibration in mine allows you to plug in the distance and the actual adjustment used (say it told you 32 MOA and you actually needed 33.5 MOA you just correct to 33.5 MOA).

POLL - Most COMPLETE ballistics app

I have both Shooter and Ballistics AE, I find Shooter to be the easiest to use and gives me good results. I need to spend more time with Ballistics to get the most out of it I guess.

AIAX Problem: Out of spec ammo, firearm, or something else?

I've had a similar problem with once fired .338 cases, turned out the cases were slightly bulged down by the rim (after firing from a mil spec chamber) just where a full length resizing die stops - caused a real problem with the bolt just as you describe. Might not be the same thing but it's...

    Keeping track of your consumables...

I reload for around 15 different rifle's and keep track of everything in my head (reloading info gets stored of course). If I were to ever run out of one particular item I would just choose another rifle to shoot! However I just know what I have pretty much at any one time and make a mental note...

    Who Jams and who Jumps?

I always jump. Jamming is ok if you're shooting from nice covered firing points but if you're getting mucky and wet out in the field not so good in my experience. If you get any droplets of water on a jammed bullet it is possible, depending on how hot your load is that you are going to get a...

Stupid question of the week. Lands too far away?

It's a common occurrence with Rem factory 308's, stick with jumping your chosen bullet at standard seating depths.

    What press for 338LM?

I use the co-ax it's a piece of piss to seat the bullet despite the low clearance. The advantages of the press outweigh this slight inconvenience in my mind. I've got a Lee 50 bmg press that can be converted to standard dies, this would do it no probs.
