Rifle Scopes Quick Detach Scope Rings Help

I LOVE my American Defense Company mounts. They are SUPER strong, light weight, great looks and function is definitely before form, but they still look great. About $160-180 This was my AD with a Leupold Mark AR 4-12 and it was an amazing setup on my JP-15

    Precision Rifle Build Assistace

Also, with everything you just stated, why not just start out with a Remington 5R like I did, and work your way across for what you need. I just did the same thing and am going relatively factory for awhile till I can figure out what I do or don't like with it. Mine is a 5r, murphy precision...

Murphy precision stainless vs TPS black steel base. Is one machined wrong?

And as much as I like the TPS, the Murphy Precision base is just a piece of art in comparison. Both functional, and GORGEOUS. It truly exudes quality when you feel it, unlike other pieces of machinery like EGW, and now TPS. They lack in the aesthetics department, but we shall see how they...

Murphy precision stainless vs TPS black steel base. Is one machined wrong?

So where does that recoil lug settle into when mounting it on the action? Front of the ejection port, or otherwise? I can't get my twisted little head wrapped around where it should go.

Murphy precision stainless vs TPS black steel base. Is one machined wrong?

I received in the mail the TPS base first. I didn't really take much more than a glance and made sure it wasn't banged up or anything. I got it from midway. It is for a Remington 7005r and so I wanted to go stainless, and picked up a murphy precision. I just got the Murphy base today and it...

What would make this a better package?

My next scope setup will be a Vortex PST in MOA/MOA, but I am waiting till at least october so I get my bonus. I will take a look at the Harris in swivel form at some point because I do plan on shooting from uneven ground. I have a decent portable bench setup though, so its not a huge concern...

    Redfield vs. Konus Spotting Scopes

I've been very happy with my redfield 20-60. I use it out to 200 for my .17hmr, and .223 and can spot holes comfortably at those distances. I use it also for observation at LONG unknown distances, and it works very well for the money. Its no swarovski, but for $180 its pretty darn hard to beat.

What would make this a better package?

So I've been dabbling in cheaper bolt guns, and wanted to try my hand at longer range, more precision shooting, and picked up a handful of things. I've been shooting AR's, LOTS of .223 guns from bolt, semi, and single shot setups. My range will be 100-600 or maybe 700 on a REALLY good day...

Rifle Scopes American rifle company rings???

I just got some from Eurooptic.com. They had them in stock, and cheaper by over $20.00 than anyone else I found. Hope they perform well on my 5R that's on its way.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Life after my Kimber full size 1911?

Gotta agree with seanh on this. I have seen a lot of bad "customs" come out of kimber in the past. This is coming from a guy who owns a full house custom colt, dan wesson pm7, and a '43 Ithaca and there is a huge difference. Not just internet banter here, its coming from experience.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Life after my Kimber full size 1911?

If you want a real piece of functional art, go to ron phillips and get a full house custom. If going off the rack, a Wilson, Nighthawk, Ed Brown is hard to beat. Good luck and post pics :-)
