    Precision Rifles.....show em!!

Its fantastic. Im using the T3 and beginning to learn to use the wind dots. Ive managed to achieve maximum travel from the elevation turret with a 30 MOA rail. About 23 mil worth. I dont find the smaller objective any hinderance at all.

    Precision Rifles.....show em!!

Im in the remington fan club Vsf in .308 26" Shoutouts to Badger Ordnance APA and B&T industries. Also sporting the poor mans AI 827 yards with gusting oblique wind. You could say it was luck or ass.

    Hunting with my AXMC

As promised, Eberlestock Phantom. Packed for overnight (2-3 nights) living modestly. It has a comforter belt which I had removed for this trip. For length of the scabbard, I have a 26" r700 in an AICS AT 1.5 stock as the reference.

    Hunting with my AXMC

Thanks for the feedback! I was lured by the maneuverability and progressive approach to short barrels. The slow twist on the AI factory barrels keeps me at a max of 210gn (berger hunting vld) without any stability loss. The noise however is important as I cant use a suppressor.

    Hunting with my AXMC

Mr Noob, Are you shooting with the 20" barrel, if so, how do you find the extra noise? Do you feel limited to certain weight projectiles? What sort of range are you making shots at? I have a similar hiking setup though I am in the process of changing out my r700 .308 26" VSF for an AXMC .300 wm...

    Elite Iron bipods

I really appreciate the offer, im afraid im several continents away! I am definitely keen on the Revolution. The apex positioning for stability is my #1 driving influence, im trying to make sure I can learn to use it for all other intended applications. I fully understand the line drawn in the...

Thanks for sharing your experience, it is hard to make a decision on these things without sitting behind your own setup with the full selection to test and try out.

    Elite Iron bipods

Ill have a look for sure. Im well on the side of the fence of "you get what you pay for". Sure if something is expensive, its worth researching properly, but I cant wrap my head around the amount of people who would have the money to drop on a precision rifle, only to argue about the price of a...

    Elite Iron bipods

Would any of you fine gentlemen opt for the short leg variant, now that it is available? Im especially keen to hear from the AXMC owners.

Covertnoob5 - how do you find the 20" on the 300 win mag? What sort of ranges did/have you shot at? Im still torn on barrel length, given the factory twist is slowish on what others are using to lob heavy projectiles at distance.

Best .300 Win Mag for Long Range

Thanks fdkay, that artical really puts me back in my place over accepted loss of muzzle velocity. Especially with using a heavier projectile and slow powder. Much appreciated.

Best .300 Win Mag for Long Range

Hi team! Im quite new to to forum, but I would like to reenvigorate this thread. I have a deposit down on an AXMC and have come to the conclusion that 300wm as a base caliber will suit me for now, with intentions of getting the .308 kit and 300nm... one day... Im frantically pouring through...
