    700 AAC SD and "heavy" bullets question

    I'm no expert here but it would be very difficult to get enough velocity for bullets that heavy for long range out of any 308, especially a 20"

    Thanks guy, i hope it shoots good. I pulled the stock off tonight and like many others it looks like it needs to be re bedded. It was definitely rubbing the stock in the rear of the action, directly across the action from the safety.

    Forster Die Set

    Has anybody used the Forster Bushing bump die? I found a set that has the bench rest seater, FL sizer and the bushing die. I personally havent ever used a bushing die, but they seem to be the go to for accuracy. The set is a much better deal than redding too.

    Kimber 8400 Adv. Tactical bedding?

    I know that EGW makes a 20 MOA base because i just bought one of these rifles and it came with it. I cant comment on the quality since the rifle is currently in the mail to me.

    Remington XCR 300wm - this can't be good.

    I would check the torque like others said. If you can slide a piece of paper between the stock and barrel then you're gtg. If none of that solves it then i would call Remington, that chip in the stock isnt acceptable quality for myself on a new gun .
