    I have the Mtac 2.5-10 on a 22-250, and I own a viper pst 1-4 and a 4-16 sfp. I think the glass is better on the Vortex, from a durability standpoint I've never had a problem with either, but the vortex warranty is reassuring. The burris has no illumination, which might be nice for coyotes...

    Is there a FF handgurard that doesn't require remoal of the barrel nut?

    I bought mine at Primary Arms for around 170, it appears they've gone up to 199$. There's also the Troy/Vtac which is the same thing with slots instead of round holes that is priced at 159$. keep in mind these prices are for the 13" length.

    I just put a 13" troy Alpha rail on my ar15 and it did in fact install on the factory barrel nut, I know there are rails by Centurion arms that do also. I'm sure other Hiders will chime in with more.

    I have a Viper pst 1-4 that I moved from an ar15 to my Scar 17 and I like it a lot on the Scar. It's pretty hard to beat in its price range and from what I've heard they have a bulletproof warranty. Having said that, I do find myself wanting more magnification at times. I think a 1-6 or 1-8...

    I prefer Spyderco, my rotation usually consists of a military a para military, harpy and delica. Spydies are lefty friendly which is probably why I prefer them.

    Scar 17s

    I love my scar 17s, I doubt I'll ever shoot it enough to replicate the problems these tests are producing. 308 ammo is just too expensive these days. It's nice to be informed if there are issues but there's plenty of proven battle rifles that still have quirks that'll never get ironed out...

    I'm a big Vortex fan, they offer a feature filled scope at a reasonable price and they have a great warranty. My vote goes to the Vortex pst scopes.
