More like 6.2, but a significant difference all the same

Rifle Scopes New Schmidt & Bender PM2 6-36x56

Scope turned up today. Stunning in all regards, keen to get range time asap. Regarding FOVgate, when I have the Scope set to 36x, I have the 6mil windage marking in view i.e the Euro version has the same FOV at 36x as the US examples have at ~30x.

Rifle Scopes New Schmidt & Bender PM2 6-36x56

Have one of the Euro models arriving in the next week or so. Have had a bunch of Alpha tier scopes and while I can't get into the granular level of analysis that some on here can, I'll do a short review asap. The 5-25 was my first truly high end optic, got it back in 2011, and have since owned...

Rifle Scopes New Schmidt & Bender PM2 6-36x56

I have a 6-36, DT II+, GRI2D on order. Given FOVgate, and as an Australian living in the UK, this is the first and likely last time I need not envy my American counterparts when it comes to firearms related gear!

In the video they have through scope with the P5FL, I would love to see the same done with the Gr2ID

    Precision Rifles.....show em!!

Getting out of the gear/weight race and going back to practical setups meant replacing my ACC chassis with a Manners. Surgeon 6.5x47 - 14.1lb as pictured:

    Would you shoot this match?

You are missing the point and by no small margin. Form follows function and different matches emerge because a growing number of the shooting community believes in the primacy of practical rifle skills instead of gear. It's not that anyone cares what anyone else shoots, it's that some of us care...

    Would you shoot this match?

LOVE the intent here (and very much appreciate the podcast(y)) but it's not strictly true that rucking/walking is the only way to cut heavy gear. Much of the conversation regarding match design centres on a false dichotomy between hard limits/restrictions and an "anything goes" attitude. In my...

    Tikka T3 Thread

I'm running Waters Rifleman 6rd BR mag and 3rd OEM tikka medium mags from my .308 - all of them function perfectly. The 5rd Tikka mags run into problems with the bolt sliding over the top of the 3rd round - I've also heard that tikka 22-250 mags work well but haven't had the need to try them. WR...

    16-18 inch shorty rifles

It's amazing what can be done with ~30 grains of powder out of such an efficient case. The stock is made by Hi-Tec Composites in New Zealand. I know Hardy Rifle uses them on their custom builds
