    So I need to relocate.

I think there are several of us here with these same thoughts, move somewhere more free. Here in Colorado they just voted to take the power of our vote away (state's electoral votes going to national popular vote winner) and it's about the final straw for me. ID, TX, FL, WY, MT on my shortlist...

    Nationwide Trucker Strike

Cops can be replaced in the time it takes a governor to call up the National Guard. There are thousands of pilots around the world that fly the same aircraft we do that would be here before they could refuel the jets. All it would take is the prez's signature authorizing the visas. About...

    Nationwide Trucker Strike

I'm sure the air traffic controllers thought they were pretty important too right up until the time Reagan replaced them overnight. I really can't think of one job where a person couldn't be replaced nearly overnight. Brain surgeon, there are probably 1000 in India waiting to come, name one and...

I have the inside line on some 223 ammo

I was just asking for advice, I would sell it locally in CO as I know all Hiders follow Army Jerry's advice and have plenty of ammo and I didn't want to ship it.

I have the inside line on some 223 ammo

I hear you, I bought my last bulk buy from Walmart last year when they were getting rid of all 5.56 and 9mm, I was getting it for 17 cents per round for Fed. Brass case 55gr FMJ and 9 cents per for 9mm. I guess those days are over.

I have the inside line on some 223 ammo

I'd base it off ammo seek, maybe a bit less. Right now PMC 85.5 cents per round, AE is 92 cents per round. I'd prolly do $800 per case. But mostly I know nothing about the laws on this sort of thing. Just hate to pass on the opportunity I've been given. Plus I need some ammo myself, my two son's...

I have the inside line on some 223 ammo

I can get several 1000 round cases for @ $500 a case, thinking of getting some and selling it. PMC or American Eagle brass cases. What is your thoughts? I wouldn't try to gouge anyone with the price, but I see it on ammo seek for $850 per 1000.

Movie Theater The Mandalorian (Spoilers are ok; youve been warned)

Yep, my 16-year-old is the only one who knows who that General Ahsoka is looking for is. I certainly don't remember him. But I did not grow up watching all the animated series they have now.

Best Bed Sheets for a Non-Operating Commissary Hero?

I have family that swears by the Boll and Branch sheets, my brother likes the Geeza my pillow sheets, I still like the Kirkland or Sam's Brand.

    COVID vaccine side effects

A serious question for DevilDocAZ and ChadL, I'm stuck in the middle of deciding to take the vaccine or not. I'm under contract to travel to India for work early next year. I do not want to go there and get the rona and have to stay in an Indian hospital, so I'm leaning toward getting the...

Did you really think this was not going to be the outcome after we first heard the phrase "ballot harvesting"?

I mean you would truly have to be a moron of the highest order if you thought ballot harvesting was going to be a good thing. How the fuck did we allow the dems to install such an obviously fuckedup voting system over the system that had been used for generation in the months leading up to this...

Hunting & Fishing Caliber for elk hunt

We've killed em with 340wby, 300wby, 300win mag, 30-06, 270, 7 Rem Mag, 280 Rem, 260Rem, muzzleloader, and bow, from 7 steps to nearly 700 yards. I've seen my buddies shoot them with calibers as small as 243. It's way more important to shoot a good bullet and place said bullet where it should be...

Looking for a good welding machine.

Welded with an Esab wire feed for years, but also used Miller and Lincoln. I would recommend any of the three. I prefer a wire feed, but sticks are fine. Make sure to read all the info on the smaller 120vac ones, I used a rental one once that would only weld for about 2 minutes at a time then it...

Hunting & Fishing Holy smokes!! Quite a shot

Yep, my son got a bull Saturday before last and it's delicious, but it did take two days and 18 miles of hiking to get it out. And I would still rather have killed a young one as they are the least likely to make it through the winter and most times when you shoot a large cow you are killing...

Hunting & Fishing Holy smokes!! Quite a shot

Why would you be a moron to shoot the calf on purpose? We always shoot the smaller cows or calves when it's possible, if you've ever eaten one you'd know why.
