    Advice for starting local precision 22lr match?

    What about reactive targets like animal cracker or Necco Wafers. I've shot empty brass before. Empty shotgun shells. I've seen shoot and see targets that are small animal silhouettes.

    5X10 100 yard challenge

    I kind of like the idea of group size because you can use any target. I use a bi-pod and rear bag. We have several long range matches locally and they all are bi-pod or front bag with a rear bag off the bench. I hope to get a chance to try this in the next few days.

    5X10 100 yard challenge

    Cool. Not to be nit picky, but if the other is 6x5 then shouldn't this be 5x10? ;) My 74 year old body doesn't do prone well, so I'll be shooting off the bench. :) If I lay down, I'll probably take a nap. LOL

    I'm with Cuzz. Many pictures of reticles on scope manufacturer pages are small and/or blurry. Often at the lower range of magnification and impossible for me to make out what they really look like. I finally had to look through a buddy's scope to see what I wanted to see for my next purchase.

    50 Rounds at 350 Yards

    I shot this today at 350 yards. The wind was pretty blustery. :) I held anywhere from dead on to a full MIL off for the wind. I think I'm starting to catch on. I learn every time I shoot.

    Opinions on cz455 vs Vudoo

    I have a CZ 455 Varmint and a Vudoo. Every time I shoot the Vudoo it makes me smile. The CZ, not so much. ;)

    200 yards with rimfire

    I also have a Caldwell un-stable table. ;) I cut a length of 4x4 that is just right to jam under the front to make it more stable. :)
