    Yeah, it's on a boyds tacticool that came on my .22 makes it far more tolerable. I usually F this picture thing up.. Also, try to make sure you don't scuff up any of the stock that your not going to texturize because it will show through the paint job.

    I had a similar issue, I scuffed it up using very very fine sand paper and then rubbed it down with rubbing alcohol. Then used JB weld to add texture, use a sponge to get your desired amount of texture and then sand with a lower grit San paper to get rid of the peaks. They will cut the shit out...

    Does manners make a stock for the savage yet? I haven't been able to locate it online if they do, but I could have swore that I read they were going to a while back. Just can't really deal with the Tacticool, and love the manners stocks I have.

    Forgive my ignorance if I missed, or should know the answer. But is this cast (molded) or milled from a solid block using cnc? Price point seems great if milled.

    Damn guys.. Everything looks great. Savage TRR-SR, just textured an painted the stock, DIP rail, bottom metal on the way. Still need a scope......... Planning on shooting 200 yards, all I have out back.
