    I don’t personally own one, but I’ve shot a few of them. All but one have been in the Predator models, but the .223 American I shot ran great and was pretty dang accurate. I’d say for $299 that’s a pretty good deal!

    If you aren’t planning on shooting any farther than that, I would think you could get away with a red dot or fixed lower power sight like a Vortex Strikefire or one of the Primary Arms prism sights

    Thank you for the input, I wasn’t sure if the HST used the CRS system or not. I’ve found some used PST Gen 2s in that price range and I like them, but I don’t want to just jump at the first thing I like either.
