    Controlling Safe Humidity and Rust

Re: Controlling Safe Humidity and Rust It's supposed to just be left on. It's really just a heating element, raising the temperature of the safe has the effect of lowering the humidity. It works. Just keep a humidity meter in the safe so you KNOW it's working.

    Advanced Marksmanship CQB forend hand

Re: CQB forend hand That's interesting. With a bent elbow it is a more natural hand position (in that the wrist isn't rotated). Feels a bit less stable though because the thumb is more of a pivot than the palm. Whatever works!

securing rifle in eberlestock gunslinger II

Re: securing rifle in eberlestock gunslinger II I have a lodrag, but yes, the compression straps cinched down plus gear in the pack lock down my rifle such that it doesn't seem to shift at all. I'm sure it's probably the same with the GS2. The optional aluminum frame helps the compression...

    Ruined Kestrel by bad batteries

Re: Ruined Kestrel by bad batteries Not that I think that anyone but Duracell should be accountable in the OP's case, it would be nice if electronics enclosures were designed to handle a leak. I'd expect a higher price point though.

    Ruined Kestrel by bad batteries

Re: Ruined Kestrel by bad batteries Just yesterday I got out my electronic earpro that I hadn't used in a few months (been using earplugs) and the batteries had leaked. Thankfully minor and it cleaned up fine. Just looked to see what batteries I had in there - yup, Duracell.
