What is wrong with the 6.5mm Rem Mag?
I have been doing some research and comptomplating going with a 6.5mm. It seems like the 6.5 Rem Mag is ballistically similar to others and the .284 remington. I assume with lower powder requirements and cup pressures it would have a longer barrel life than the .284. Can anyone enlighten me on...- quantum105

Rifle Scopes Any opinions of the new redfields?
Re: Any opinions of the new redfields? I have one on my 10/22. Redfield is made by Leupold in there factory and looks indentical a Leupold scope. From what I can decern the only difference is the glass coatings. Great bang for the buck. Also the eye relief is the same as the Leupold.- quantum105

HELP/ Advice with my first build, Win 70, 300 WM
OK, this is my first post, first build and this is what I have. Winchester Model 70 in 300 WM from 1988 push feed action with a Hogue full length aluminum bed varmint stock, Leupold VX-II 3x9x40 and Harris bipod.
