Suppressors Area 419 TBAC adapter POI shift

That is well within normal. The important part is that the shift is repeatable forming taking the can on and off. I never expect to be able to hit the same POI going from a can to a brake. Every can, and barrel set up is going to be be different, there is no hard rule about how much something...

    Muzzel brake

I don't love laying next to brakes, but its not something I get upset over.

    Muzzel brake

Brakes are very much a part of long range shooting. It's not always fun to be laying next to them, but it's just part of the game. I don't get pissed off if someone is running them.

Area 419 hellfire vs sidewinder -what system to buy into?

I’d stick with the Hellfire for your application.

I like the Area 419 sidewinder.

    22 trainer or 223 help!

I have both, and both have their purposes. The V-22 has the same feel as my centerfire rifle and lets me shoot more and the range and play on props more while getting some trigger time. I'm not shooting my Vudoo for BR groups so I don't overly worry about lots and stuff like that. The 223 is...

What are the disadvantages of a butt hook on a stock for a precision trainer.

I wouldn't say there is an advantaged or disadvantage. It is really more of a preference thing. Bags tend to slide back more on the hook, but an angled style like a T6 can rapidly change elevation. All my rifles both 22 and centerfire are in a T6 or PRS2. It doesnt make me right or wrong...

PRS Talk Get rid of production division and expand tactical division

Maybe production will be a little more popular this year since there are classes in the regional matches now. I don't have any issue with production, but its amazing the amount of people concerned with having a production legal rig, compared to people who actually shoot in production class.

    Suppressors Harvester

I had a tube failure on one, and never shot anything bigger than a 260 through it. Was shooting 223 when it failed. Silencero absolutely did right by me so I can't complain about that, but I'd get something more robust.

    DeLane Development Group Rimfire Ventures

I just picked up a 20" Kukri Barreled action yesterday. Put it in a Manners T6A with a TT diamond and a 624i like my centerfires. Will be a couple days until I can shoot it, but I love the way it feels compared to any other rimfire I had in the past. Having the other components made it a...

    Suppressors Reduce Suppressor "Push"

Leviathan cans have a much different feeling impulse that is more brake like. I was able to try their different offerings and I haven't used anything that has a similar impulse.

PRS Talk Question of Rules/Restrictions for a PRS Match

You can shoot open or tac, tac would be a better option for 308. There are velocity and bullet weight limits.

    Suppressors Why use a suppressor?

Happens often in PRS. It's even worse when your shooting off a concrete pad with a roof over it. I've shot brakes for year and and now going to shoot suppressed primarily. I feel like what I give up in recoil I get back in focus. I now try to squad with more suppressor guys as well.

Results - Rayner's Range 2017 Fall Sniper Challenge

You find out the course of fire the day of the match. Same with the scoring. The match is shot as an individual. It's all pretty straight forward. You do need to sign up and pay before hand. They are a blast. If you're new people will be happy to help out.

    Production class

get what you want and can afford, but don't get hung up on fitting into the box of production class. The class itself is a neat idea, but in the scheme of what match shooting cost the rifle really doesn't even add up to that big of a part of it. Since you mentioned TVP i'm assuming you're...

    Production class

I would just get what you want/can afford an not worry about if it falls into production or open. At the club level i'm not even sure if they make the distinction of Open vs Production. The club series has a classification system that is different than the PRS points race is which is all the...
