It's been fun, but it's time for me to move on

Ryan, Like you, I have been around this place for a long time. Pre Scout. I'm sure we have talked in the past as I relied on the knowledge and help of many here building my M40a1. Owning guns that people we know and respect once owned creates a valuable treasure. Perhaps there is a way to give...

Hunting & Fishing Sandhill crane hunt

Used to hunt them as a young man around Lubbock. As I recall the season limit was 20. Bring heavy shot 12 or even 10 Guage as they are big tough birds and further away than you think. Oh, and they get pissed when you walk up on a wounded one. Very fun to hunt and good to eat.

Wet Mounting Scope Mounts - Where It All Started

The vid mentions lubing screws. Even if using thread locker? Or maybe locker not necessary if lubed?

    K-Bars Tactical Knives

Nice photo Doc! I have a Solingen Boker with bog oak scales. While solid it has sort of a velvet feel. Hard to describe. Yours appears more highly polished so maybe different. I'll see if I can find a pic of the Boker.

    7mm Back Country?

It better be boxer primed. Berdan primed would kill it before rolls out. Anybody heard?

    7mm Back Country?

So not reloadable if true would kill the deal for me. If I am reading the chart correctly it appears that it is 10 minutes less drop at a 1000 yd then the 7RM. Which is pretty cool.
