    I just found a 1966 rem700 chambered in 222. It has been 22years since i have owned one and have lost the load data i once had. What load are any of you using? I have 500 50gr slugs that im hoping to use. Just want to use it for varmints, when i was younger it was my deer gun.

    turn left side of grill on hi turn right side to low, put meat on right side. Presoak in cheap beer, something about the cheaper beer gives it more taste. As its cooking base the backstraps till done. Just had it for dinner, im so full now.

    The loaded rounds for mine didnt chamber as the necks were to thick.

    We use the C.O.W. method using red dot powder. We have had no problems doing this and there isnt any wear on the barrels.
