Re: Best SASS for the money For the money you can't go wrong with DPMS. I built mine and have about $1200 in it w/o Optics or bipod. All parts were from classifieds. Build up is almost exactly the same as AR15 but as others have mentioned you have to watch upper to lower pattern. That said...- farmertom

As some have mentioned: -Punches -upper reciever block -AR Armors/multi tool -Head space guages - insurance These are the must haves everything else is cake. Having a nice vise is a plus. Re: AR 10t or 308 sps If you want dirt simple go SPS. If you want quick follow up Ar10. Semi in 308 is lots of fun but can get expensive quick. My Lr308 is fun and will shoot close to what my rem 700 will but it is heavy. If you are looking at the resale since you are trading as Muttt...- farmertom
