    IWB Holster Advice

Re: IWB Holster Advice +1 on the Sparks Versa max 2. Not the cheapest or quickest to get but well worth the wait. I might suggest a high ride belt holster as a more comfortable option? IWB holsters (on me anyway) require a larger pant and belt size to be somewhat comfortable. I usually carry...

Rifle Scopes spotting scope for long range (out to 1000)

Re: spotting scope for long range (out to 1000) You looking for the bench or field use? If its for the bench get a Konus 20-60x100mm This thing is SUPER clear. My range officer likes it better than his Kowa 82 and at 1/3 the cost!! The one big drawback is that it weighs a TON. you need a...

    Gunsmithing Building a Supressor.

Re: Building a Supressor. I'm sure your right about needing hearing protection. But there are a couple of major upsides.1) NO $200tax stamp or paperwork 2)No muzzle weight so no POI change. 3) Basically no bigger than a muzzle brake 4)Same benefits downrange as a standard suppressor.

    Gunsmithing Building a Supressor.

Re: Building a Supressor. After doing quite a bit of digging around in the law library, I have an Idea I would like to bounce of you guys. A supressor reduces the Db level of the rifle shot. This requires Paperwork and taxes Etc..Etc. So rather than reducing the sound level..change the...

Gunsmithing What do YOU use to lube your 700 trigger?

Re: What do YOU use to lube your 700 trigger? My son used to be big into pinewood derby cars. One of the tricks they use was powdered graphite on the axles. I figured I would try some on my triggers, NEVER going to use anything else now!

Rifle Scopes Falcon menace and 50 BMG?

Re: Falcon menace and 50 BMG? NF 8-32x56 if you can drop that much cash is a great choice. Look for a scope with a "etched glass reticule" as these hold up much better to the reverse recoil a big brake on a 50 gives.Stay away from leupold the reticules shake loose.(great during a match)

    Rifle Scopes KonusPro

Rifle Scopes Optics Questions- Please help!!!

Re: Optics Questions- Please help!!! For a cheaper scope the Konus 4-16 is a fantastic buy! The glass reticule holds up to the recoil of my 50bmg which is more than I can say about a leupold M4. Leupold fixed it for me but sending the scope back every 100 rounds sucked!!

    Rifle Scopes KonusPro

Re: KonusPro Konus makes exellent glass. I have used a Konus 100mm spotting scope for 2 years now and LOVE the thing. Our range Officer has a Kowa and he likes the clarity in my Konus better. I have a Konus M30 4-16 on my AR-10 which in my humble opinion is just as good a leupold.
