The only concerning thing that I've heard is that over time, there is some "wobble," that develops (different than the 'centering,' you want if using say the o-rings for centering).
I love the ability to not have to spin dies in and out, but it would purely be a luxury rather than a necessity.
Like others have said, neck tension is everything. The biggest single thing that helped me was switching to a mandrel/neck expander to set my neck tension. After that, swallowing the bullet to get a Giraud makes it easy on the labor side.
I'm attending this class and flying in to Nashville. Looking to see if anyone (or group of anyones) that want to split a rental car (all week) and/or a hotel room on the night 8/7, after the class is done (flying home on 8/8).
PM if interested.

Re: Ideas on 1911 Base Gun for Future Custom Work?
Well, since you have a FFL that will do the single shot exemption, we have a whole new banana to play with. I also would recommend the RIA full rail. Pretty sweet little blaster and I'm a sucker for a full dust cover railed pistol. They're...
Re: Who does a Badger bolt conv on 700 Remmy Quickly
Mark Gordon at SAC is pretty quick too. I've had three bolts done by him and have been very happy.

Re: Is it worth putting a muzzel brake on a .308
I can highly recommend the following for 308:

- Benny Hill/Triangle Shooting Sports
- JP Enterprises (www.jprifles.com) Brake

Re: Which Free Float Tube Length?
If you've got a low profile gas block, get a rifle length, although the XL models from JP, Nordic, Lancer, Troy, et. al. will work as well.
I'm in the longer is better crowd.

Re: Advice on next AR-15 purchase
We just shipped a seriously sweet 18" rifle to a recently redeployed Marine. Didn't want to let this one out of the shop as it was simply....perfect.
Give me a call if you have questions.

Re: Is it worth putting a muzzel brake on a .308
Some say it's being a wuss. I say it's maximizing the use of available technology. I have a brake on my 22. Hell...I have a comp on my airsoft pistol.
Go for it.
