    Suppressors The dip

Yeah continuos until its crystal clear. Gonna take awhile, there isn't any real need to be cleaning a centerfire rifle can though.

    Suppressors The dip

+1 It is some bad stuff!

    Suppressors Trust question

The changes are just the tip of the iceberg. There is more reform in the works for entity ownership, may be awhile out though.

    Suppressors The dip

Just make sure you have a HAZMAT facility that will take the toxic materials when you are done with it and that you get rid of 100% of the residue from inside, nothing worse than getting blowback of hazmat waste in your face or even all over your bolt. Even without shooting cast bullets it will...

Suppressors Selling a Suppressor to an Out-Of-State Private Party.

Not defending the ATF and never argued its antiquated, just sharing the reality of things. An electronic system would be nice but won't happen for awhile due to a number of reasons. Agree to disagree!

    Suppressors The dip

It doesn't nuetralize it just gets saturated and slows down incredibly. It is still acidic and toxic. It does not hurt stainless steel. Titanium is at risk due to the aluminum content in the Ti. We have tested this extensively and have seen a little damage but nowhere near the damage to...

    Suppressors Trust question

Yes you would need a copy of the Trust and the Form4, if it is a MG you will run into some issues due to VA MG laws. Also note that how Trust are handled are under scrutiny and WILL be changing, from the information I have seen it will take away alot of the benefits will be going away.

Have you ever worked with any of the systems the .gov uses for investigation? Also do you have ANY idea of how backed up they are on applications?

    Suppressors Trust question

If the Trust is in SC then the transactions take place in SC. A trust doesn't give you a state exemption for purchases. You can't purchase wherever you want. You are a Trustee in the trust and nothing more. Grantor is the one that does the addition or removal to the Trust. He would have to...

I would buy a used can for demo purposes. It only takes that short of time because once they vet the seller and see that the buyer is an licensee its only a matter of verifying that the SOT is current. Its in place to enhance commerce. Electronic system would be perhaps a shy quicker...

How does the ATF know its going to be transferred? Do you realize how little money the NFA brings in? They are hardly going for an extra 200 bucks.

Yes, there are 2 taxes on selling something owned. First to the dealer(in state or out of state makes no difference) Second to the new owner.

No a individual has to transfer it to a dealer out of state on a Form4. Once the item gets onto a Form4 it has to transfer on a Form4 paid transfer. Only dealers can transfer it via Form3's between each other.

No, the Form4 to the SOT usually takes about 4-6 WEEKS, not months.

Your local dealer was correct. You Form4 the can to the buyers in state SOT ($200 stamp required). Then the buyer pays the Form4 transfer from his in state SOT.

Dealers don't pay transfer tax between themselves.

Suppressors Convicted of a felony but own a can, now what?

If your SOT is saying that transfers between SOT's are taxed then you REALLY need to find another SOT. Yes, my information is vetted to say the least.
