Dillon 650 question on powder charge volume

That is way too much variation. Like someone mentioned, you should be around +/- .2 grains in weights. Even Varget stays around +/- 0.3 grains.

R700 7mm rem mag Sendero Accuracy Issues

I find it useful, at least initially, to choose just one bullet, one powder, and one primer and work up an OCW load. This avoids information overload!! A few google searches should give you some good bullet/powder combos. If you really want to know if the rifle shoots, buy some premium ammo...

    Help selecting a proper tumbler

Go as big as possible with the SS media, the weight of the media and water represent the most weight. Thumbler's Tumblers are great, have both a regular dry tumbler and the standard SS tumbler, both work exactly as they should and the dry tumbler is over 20 years old. And FWIW, I much prefer...

Solvent to remove Imperial Sizing Die Wax

Hazord, you might try tumbling a bit longer. I usually tumble in ss for 3-4 hrs and the cases come out perfect, just like new.

Rifle Scopes scope level/cant help needed

I forgot to add that at 500, I would have to add .3 mils to adjust for the cant of the scope on a 308. Once I watched the training video, i realized my mistake. Since correcting, I've not had to add any windage (except for when it's windy :))

Rifle Scopes scope level/cant help needed

I think what you are experiencing is normal. Checkout Lowlight's training video about leveling your scope, it's really good and practical advice. But here's the skinny. Hang a plumb line at about 50 yards or so. Shoulder your rifle with your scope that has been leveled to the...

    Gunsmithing 1911's??

What problems are you having with your 1911 that is causing it to run differently than your Glock? Failure to feed, extract, stove piping, etc?

    2000MR + 308 + 155 SMK Palma OCW test

Looks like your are on to a good OCW load. Would be interesting to see what happens a bit further out.

    Atlas bipod

Bought one a few months ago and it's absolutely awesome. Had been using Harris, and still like them plenty, but prefer the Atlas. Will say I'm glad I have both as not all my rifles have picatinny rails to house the Atlas. It is nice the Harris only needs a sling swivel stud.

Rifle Scopes MRAD vs MOA scopes

Mil system is much easier to use. Requires less math and is a more natural system IMO.

    Rifle Scopes Leupold Mistake…

A week ago I posted that I sent a VX-3 8.5-25x50 to the Leupold Custom Shop to have the M5 turrets and Mil-Dot reticle installed. After first speaking with a technician who assured me the M5 (.1 mil) turret could be added to my scope, I mailed it to Leupold's headquarters in Oregon. A few...

    Your first long range rifle

My first target type gun was a Rem 700 with a heavy barrel, but I definitely cut my teeth with a hunting rifle when I was young and couldn't afford anything better. The best advice I can give is to not get wrapped up in the hype. Everyone has something to sell you, and a lot of it is...

Rifle Scopes Converting Leupold VX-3 to mil-dot and M5

I thought I would post this info in case others are wondering or considering also having this done. After getting a really good deal on a VX-3 8.5-25x50 with the dot reticle, I called Leupold and asked about converting it to a mil/mil format. They informed me it would be $160 for the...

    Jewell vs timney

I have both and prefer Timney, but it really boils down to personal preference. Like post #5 says, try both and decide which you prefer. Can't go wrong either way though.
